I bought one in every of these a few week ago for $399.00 and $12 shipping. For the money, I even have not seen anything which will compare in terms of build-quality and performance. Not an excessive amount of bloat-ware (thanks Lenovo!). tight performance from the ultra low voltage processor. far better than the sooner single core versions and nevertheless, solely 10 watts utilized by the cpu.

Awesome battery life, up to 8 hours. The Intel 4500 integrated graphics is adequate for my functions. In ubuntu 10.10, i used to be ready to enable desktop effects for a few cool esthetics with no downside. Not enough graphics power for any demanding 3D stuff. All the functions I even have employed in Ubuntu up to now have worked while not issue.
I really like the texture of the keyboard. the big multi-touch enabled track-pad is awesome. Despite some errors on Amazon, this unit really weighs in at solely 3.8 lbs, terribly lightweight on the lap. Build quality is incredibly sensible. I detect no flex within the body the least bit.
